Mind's Ear created the International Audio + Theatre Script Competition, or IATSC, to create a fair and level forum in which all audio playwrights from all areas of the globe could compete. Our goal was to create an open, challenging arena in which the best and brightest new voices in audio storytelling could be honored. To do that, we needed to remove as many barriers as we could, so that the first-time playwright could compete with the seasoned pro, so that the published scribe could test their work against that of the factory worker who writes for pleasure, so that the work of an author from Idaho could compete next to the work of a biochemist from rural Scotland.

Mind's Ear will not host a script competition in 2007.
